 Procedure For Each Situation

The sponsor needs to notify CIPS in writing of their withdrawal and state the reason for the withdrawal.

1. Application has not been submitted.

CIPS notifies the sponsor that they should advise the applicant of their withdrawal, so that the applicant can take steps to find another sponsor.

2. Application is in process but the applicant has not yet been informed of the outcome.

CIPS notifies the applicant that they need to find another sponsor before their application can be processed.

3. Application has been approved and the applicant has been informed of the outcome.

CIPS notifies the sponsor that the application has already been processed and as a result no action can be taken.

4. Application has been rejected but the applicant has not yet been informed of the outcome.

CIPS notifies the applicant of the rejection through the normal process, and further informs them that they need to find another sponsor if they intend to re-apply.

5. Application has been rejected and the applicant has been informed of the outcome.

CIPS notifies the sponsor that the application has already been processed and as a result no action can be taken.
