ICTC Report Calls For New Approach in Dealing with Critical Skills Shortage

A recently released report on Canada's skills shortages in the critical Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector revealed that a serious skills shortage is threatening the sector.  The ICT sector has been described by employers as the number one contributor to Canada's productivity.  The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC), Canada's leading authority on ICT skills development, has just completed the Outlook 2008-2015, a year-long investigation into the reality of the skills challenge in Canada.
