The 51st Annual General Meeting of the members of the Canadian Information Processing Society will be held at the Shaw Conference Centre, Edmonton, Alberta on the 3rd day of November, 2009 at 4:30 PM (Mountain time) for the purpose of:

The success of ICE is in its ability to inspire those involved in IT to become better professionals, connect delegates with peers and industry players and educate about the latest technology, business methods, trends and tools.

The International Professional Practice Partnership (IP3) Task Force met in London from July 15 to 17, 2009. This milestone meeting saw the appointment of Greg Lane, I.S.P., ITCP as the new Chair of IP3. Greg takes over from Charles Hughes, FBCS, CEng, CITP who has been Chairman of the Task Force since its inception at the beginning of 2007. Greg, who is currently Chair of the Canadian Council of Information Technology Professionals (CCITP), is well known in CIPS circles.
