ITCP/IP3P Designation Use

The IP3 has released its style guide and announced the new use of the international "IP3P' designation in conjunction with CIPS' ITCP.
 
CIPS ITCP holders who opted to receive and use the internationally aligned IP3P designation can demonstrate use in the following way:
John Smith, ITCP/IP3P
 
I.S.P. and ITCP holders should list it as:
John Smith, I.S.P., ITCP/IP3P
 
When demonstrating both the English and French Acronyms:

ITCP French Acronym Announced

The French acronym for the ITCP has been named "PATI" for "Professionnel agréé en technologies de l'Information."
 
For I.S.P. and ITCP holders who would like to display both the English and French acronyms please list as follows:
 
John Smith, I.S.P./EATI, ITCP/PATI
or
John Smith, EATI /I.S.P., PATI/ITCP
 
The grandparenting for all eligible PATI holders in Quebec is currently underway.

New CIPS Member Benefit

Starting December 1st 2009 CIPS Members receive a $250 discount off normal fees for assistance with SR&ED claims!
 
CIPS Members will receive the benefit as a cash discount of $250 per claim year (with proof of CIPS membership) off their invoice (before GST).

Offer valid for other services, including OIDMTC (Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credits), IRAP (Industry Research Assistance Program), and any other forms of applicable government funding.

Now in its seventh year, formerly Information Systems Professional week, the goal of IT professionalism week is to increase awareness of the importance ICT professionals play in the Canadian work force.
