CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

This message is to remind all members of the importance of the Annual General Meeting, and also a call for nominations to the CIPS-BC board. Over the past two years we have lost a significant number of board members, to the point that there are not enough left to fulfill the responsibilities expected of a board. This is particularly critical for Vancouver members, as you may have noticed there were not many meetings or events held in the past year.  That is because there are not enough Vancouver based board members to organize them.  WE NEED AT LEAST 4 MORE VOLUNTEERS to help with events and to participate as board members.  If we don’t get more help, CIPS-BC is at serious risk of non-compliance with our bylaws and not fulfilling the expectations of BC members.

Now is the time to step up and contribute to our profession in BC. If you wish to volunteer or nominate a peer, please advise Nominations Chair Ian Frazer, ipfrazer@ipfconsulting.com.
