Presentation Overview
We live in a world consumed and bombarded with constant news of Advance Persistent Threats, modern malware and insider threats. Our presentation focuses on the variety of techniques, approaches and solutions administrators and security analysts can use to keep their networks and systems secure. We contrast traditional security approaches to modern techniques developed to combat the ever evolving security threats.
Speaker's Biography
Richard Baker is a senior Information Security professional, and co-founder of rSolutions. He has over 15 years of professional experience providing information security services, solutions and leadership to clients across Canada. As part of the team at rSolutions, Richard gives back to the community by volunteering as a security advisor on healthcare panels, educating students about security risks at SIAST and speaking to professional associations and at conferences about relevant security issues and topics.
