It's an interesting time to be an IT professional working in any role. Interesting, challenging, and at times really uncomfortable. We know that we're experiencing (and in some cases expected to lead) change, but do we really understand the nature of different kinds of change and how to navigate them successfully?

For IT professionals and leaders, this hands-on workshop uses LEGO-based activities to help you better understand different change contexts, and their impact on individuals, teams and organizations. You'll learn what does – and doesn't – work in different contexts, and then engage in a discussion about what it all means to you and your colleagues.

Angie Tarasoff is Senior Manager, Technology Planning and Management with Alberta Education. In this role, she works with IT leaders in Alberta's 63 K-12 school jurisdictions to increase access to technology and digital learning resources for Alberta's 600,000 students and 40,000 educators. She considers herself fortunate to have a job that enables her to combine and leverage her passion for education, technology, and IT leadership every day.
