What makes a successful team. In today's work environment, the culture is just as diverse as credentials and education.

Our panel will discuss the pros and cons of education, credentials and designation.

Presenters and Biographies

Moderator: Shane Ridgway,

CIPS SK Board 

With more than fourteen years experience in Information Systems (IS). Shane has experience as a help desk agent, developer, manager, mentor, analyst, programmer, server and systems specialist. Becoming involved with CIPS in 2009, served as President of CIPS Saskatchewan 2011/12 and currently serving as director on the provincial board, Aside from IS Shane enjoys travelling, skiing, and scuba diving.


Yashu Bither B.E., M. Sc., I.S.P., ITCP, P. Eng., Viterra 

Yashu Bither is an exceptional IT professional with a unique blend of Technical, business, project management and change management skills. He has demonstrated ability to understand business needs, elicit requirements, find appropriate solutions for his clients in short and long term. He strongly believes in networking, collaboration and building/maintaining relationships with his clients, team members and stake holders.  

Angie Gardippi,  B.Admin, Business Planner - Workforce Mgmt,  SaskTel

Angie Gardippi is a Human Resources professional with SaskTel.   She has over seven years experience in the field, most of which was in a staffing capacity; attracting and recruiting the best and brightest for the IT department. 

Doug Hynne, PMP, Cert. APM, SCPM, ISP, ITCP, A.Sc.T. - PM Competency Manager, ISM 

Doug is a Project Management Professional and Stanford Certified Project Manager who has over 35 years of information systems and engineering experience.  He has more than 25 years experience implementing a variety of IT and construction projects.    

He utilizes industry best practice project management processes and techniques to control projects from initiation to implementation to ensure on time, on budget solutions but what constitutes industry best practices continues to evolve and Doug seeks to evolve with them.
