CS Education: Trying Not to Re-invent the wheel

We are asking for your help today to identify excellent computer science education for kindergarten and beyond AND specific resources that would enable computer science teachers to optimize the learning experience.

The Saskatchewan chapter of CIPS created a committee with representatives from education, government and business to improve computer science instruction in Saskatchewan. After various inquiries we gathered together requirements, created alternatives, selected alternatives to action and are now in the process of making things happen.

We anticipate providing input into the rewriting of the curricula computer science 20 (grade 11) and 30 (grade 12) in the coming years, and hope to provide assistance for K-12 and beyond. We have already researched and collected some materials.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, please send them to
