You are cordially invited to join us June 20, 2013 for a dinner and discussion on
Technology Risk Management - New technologies - new expectations
Technology risk management has always been as much of an art as a science. IT strategy, development, procurement, security, financial management and even staffing have always been moving targets. The state of the art has certainly advanced in the last decade or so - but during that same time, so much has changed in terms of the internet, the cloud, cybercrime, virtualization, mobile payments, BYOD, that it is unclear whether we are better off or not.
This wide ranging discussion will look at technology risk management, then, now and possibly tomorrow; its relationship to advancing technologies; current best practices; and some personal observations of the speaker who has watched the changing IT risk landscape for most of his career.
