Building a Smarter Planet - Instrumented, Intelligent, and Interconnected

For the first time in history, almost anything can become digitally aware and interconnected. Smart airports, smart banks, smart roadways, smart cities – with so much technology available at such a low cost, the list of possibilities is endless. New levels of global integration mean that we are all now connected – economically, technically and socially. But being connected is not sufficient. We also have to infuse intelligence into our systems and ways of working. The world has become flatter and smaller. Now it must become smarter.

Leveraging advanced analytics, asset management and collaboration tools,  IBM's Intelligent Operations  delivers the ability to gain insight into an organizations environment through centralized information and enables the integration of organization-wide daily operations to allow visibility into KPIs, trends, analyses, business rules and cross-organization collaboration. Intelligent Operations helps optimize operational efficiency by integrating many systems to provide insight into overall organization status with drill-down visibility into each underlying function

The presentation will look at how a number of industry's are infusing intelligence into creating the services they provide to their clients, and the technology that is assisting them..

Throughout his career he has worked with clients in virtually every industry.
