April 30, 4:30-6:30

After 4 years of CIPS-Alberta we know that we still need to have a CIPS-Alberta (professional registration) and there are efficiencies with one organization BUT we also know:

• There needs to be value to members in the location of the members
• There needs to be program planning and delivery that meets the needs of the members where they reside and work
• Networks (highest priority for members) begin locally
• The involvement of students in CIPS has to be in the location where they study

We are requesting the attendance of people interested in improving CIPS and potentially volunteering in the Edmonton area to discuss:

• What CIPS should be doing to bring value to its members
• What CIPS should be doing to grow its membership
• What CIPS should be doing to engage student members
• How can we do this
• How should this be organized

Time and place: Edmonton Petroleum Club (easy to park) at 4:30-6:30 on April 30.
