Dear Participants,
We are researchers at the Centre for Information Technology, Organizations, and People (CITOP) at Carleton University. We are conducting two cross-sectional surveys on information systems. The objectives of the research are:
Project 1: To assess the level of awareness and use of software process improvement (SPI) programs in Canadian software development firms
Project 2: To evaluate the factors with the greatest influence on information systems quality and success in Canadian software development firms.
If you are a software developer, programmer, analyst or project manager we invite you to complete the two online surveys. Please click the links below to answer the surveys.

The online surveys are managed by CITOP, and the data is stored in Canada.
Confidentially and anonymity of all data is guaranteed. No data will be shared with any third party. If you do not complete the survey the data will not be used. There is no time limit for completing the questionnaire. However, it is expected that they will take no more than 10 and 30 minutes respectively.
These projects have been reviewed and received ethics clearance through the Carleton University Research Ethics Board. If you have any comments or concerns regarding the ethical administration of these studies, please address them to the chair of the Carleton University Ethics Board:
