via Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training

Please note that February 15th is the deadline for consultations to update the existing guides.

(Please contact: Tracy Laramee: 250-385-1535, TracyLaramee@sierrasystems.com)

The Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training is the lead agency in British Columbia responsible for the implementation of the Pan-Canadian Framework for the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Qualifications. The focus of our work is to improve qualifications recognition information and processes for foreign trained professionals who wish to move to British Columbia and become certified in their field of expertise and facilitate better labour market integration for immigrants to our province.

Please see below a letter outlining a significant project we are undertaking, with the assistance of Sierra Systems, to provide enhanced information on occupations in BC and the processes by which a foreign trained worker can become certified.

Also below is the existing occupational guide for Web Designers and Developers (Word and PDF versions).

We thank you in advance for your participation. Please feel free to contact us at JTST should you have any questions.
