The Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training is the lead agency in British Columbia responsible for the implementation of the Pan-Canadian Framework for the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Qualifications. The focus of our work is to improve qualifications recognition information and processes for foreign trained professionals who wish to move to British Columbia and become certified in their field of expertise and facilitate better labour market integration for immigrants to our province.

Please see below a letter outlining a significant project we are undertaking, with the assistance of Sierra Systems, to provide enhanced information on occupations in BC and the processes by which a foreign trained worker can become certified.
