Participate in the Software Professionals Survey Today!

The Information and Communication Technology Council (ICTC) is working towards the pilot testing phase for I-ADVANCE©, a professional certification program that is being built "for the industry by the industry"!  Our goal is to validate the competencies for the tasks that software professionals, like you, perform every day.  Your feedback will have a direct impact on this initiative and will help us to refine I-ADVANCE© to ensure that it delivers significant value and progress to ICT professionals and the whole ICT sector.

If you...

  • Have a minimum of seven years of work experience in areas of business analysis and service level management, analysis design, design and delivery (engineering) and technical ICT architecture; or,
  • Have a minimum of four years of work experience in the areas of analysis programming, application software implementation, web design, web development and programming;  

...we want to hear from you today!

Please follow this link, and answer a series of questions about your work experience and occupation. The survey will be live until February 16th, 2010.  We also encourage you to forward this link to your colleagues and professional networks from across the country to make our validation as robust as possible.

Participate in an Upcoming Workshop

 A facilitated workshop will take place from March 3 - 5, 2010 in Toronto. At this workshop, software experts from across Canada will develop the questions that will form part of the skills and competency assessment for this certification.
