Applicants applying under the exam routes must have passed either the Institute for Certification of Computer Professional (ICCP) exams leading to the Certified Computing Professional or equivalent or the British Computer Society (BCS) Diploma or Professional Graduate exams. ICCP has the CCP, CDMP and CBIP, all at mastery level – that equate to the requirements for I.S.P. In addition to successful completion of the exams, applicants also require a certain number of years of professional experience.
