"A statistic from the Standish Group states that: of 23,000 IT projects conducted in the 1990s, more than 70 percent were deemed challenges or were complete failures. In all cases, the problem was not IT, but the people and processes supporting it. We, as IT professionals guide these types of projects and take responsibility for its success or failures. We need to maintain credibility. The I.S.P. designation will help us do this." |
