BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is one of the hottest acronyms in the business technology world today. Employees demand greater choice and flexibility in the devices they use and organizations are scrambling to build a BYOD strategy. This presentation will give you a glimpse into the challenges and concerns you will most likely face and some key considerations to take into account when building your own strategy.
Speaker Biography
Ashley D'Costa is the current CTO at Mainland Information Systems and is responsible for setting the technical direction and strategy for Mainland, its customers and their vendor partners. As leader of Mainland's Solutions Architecture team, Ash uses his broad knowledge of IT infrastructures and attention to detail to provide Mainland's customers with IT strategies that are creative and realistic. Ash graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors Degree in Computing Science and has 20 years of IT experience working with technologies ranging from MVS and VM mainframes to Unix to Windows and onto the virtual data centre infrastructures of today.
