Presentation Overview Description
Organizations are facing many challenges today that has an impact on their people and their profitability. This presentation will take a look at one solution that can assist in meeting these business challenges head on. We will briefly explore the business value of mentoring and what that can mean for employees and the organization. We will touch on the impact of disengaged employees in the work place and look at mentoring as a means to alleviate disengagement in the work place.
Speaker Biography
Doug Lawrence is the founder of TalentC® a Human Resources solution provider. He has over 30 years of management and leadership experience in both federal and provincial environments as well as the private sector. Doug’s leadership style has resulted in the successful mentoring of many individuals who have gone on to lead verysuccessful careers. Doug believes in our youth and sees them as our future leaders of tomorrow.
Doug is an active member of the Saskatchewan Hockey Association Referees Division Board and has been instrumental in thementoring/supervising of hockey referees for over 15 years.. Doug was instrumental in launching the first Provincial Human Resources mentoring program in Saskatchewan. Doug also assisted the University of Regina in the launch of the Hill School of Business Mentor Program.
