Myths and Truths About Online Learning |

This presentation challenges the audience to test their knowledge (and learn about) common myths and truth about online learning- especially as it compares to classroom based learning. It also notes the differences between the various types, delivery mechanisms and pedagogy of online learning as practices in Canada today. Speaker Terry is the director of CIDER - the Canadian Institute of Distance Education Research and the editor of the International Review of Research on Distance and Open Learning (IRRODL).
