Next Generation Testing

Application complexity, economic pressures and speed-to-market demands combined with already realized benefits in development processes and tools have necessitated a greater emphasis on test process and operations improvement. Testing is no longer an after-thought. Next generation innovations and best practices are helping push testing to the forefront of the CIO's agenda. This presentation focuses on the trends and innovations that leading test organizations are embracing for long term project and IT operations success.
Speaker
Elizabeth Mahr is the Business Development Leader for IBM Canada Testing Services. She is responsible for strategy, marketing and sales of testing services and works with IBM clients to help them re-engineer and optimize their test operations. She is a 20+ year veteran of IT services and has worked in various application services leadership capacities, including application management, integration and testing.She is considered a specialist in global delivery program optimization and is part of IBM's Delivery Excellence Task Force for testing services innovations and improvements. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.
