Join Internet marketing and online communications expert Mike Klein for a fun and entertaining discussion about social media. Over the course of lunch Mike will deliver participants with practical knowledge, useful tools, and concrete examples regarding digital marketing and social media best practices.
Speaker Biography
Michael Klein is President & CEO of Meshy Communications,a startup Saskatoon-based company specializing in social media and digital marketing management. In 1993 Mike was introduced to the Internet and he hasn't looked back since. His experience spans over 15 years in communications and marketing where he has worked with some of Saskatchewan's largest corporations, government agencies and post-secondary institutions. Mike holds a B.Comm (Marketing) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Diploma Graphic Design from the University of the Fraser Valley. Mike enjoys speaking at events, connecting with new people and blogging about marketing strategy at michaelklein.ca.

The PotashCorp's Technical System, IT team embarked on an ambitious project to completely tear down and reorganize the Saskatoon based Data Center The project was almost a year in the planning, with the outage being a full 4 days. The project mainly addressed limited room available for new equipment, but there were also the following areas that needed to be dealt with: Power and Cooling: The UPS capacity had been reached and there was an unbalanced power distribution. Rob Belyk has 28 years IT experience, 25 in Technical Systems. His primary responsibilities over that time has been support of the mainframe environment and the evolution into Unix systems. Currently Rob is the supervisor of "Large Systems" Technical Systems group at PotashCorp.
