CIPS as part of its mandate to educate its Members is happy to bring this informative session to you: Microsoft will present and answer questions on Preventing Cyber-Threats disruption with Revolutionary Security on March 15 2016 at 7:00PM - City of Mississauga (City Hall) - Committee Room A, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga. ON L5B 3C1.  

Topic: "Preventing Cyber-Threats disruption with Revolutionary Security"

All businesses need to take proactive steps to reduce cyber-threats. The current state requires a platform with revolutionary security capabilities. In this session, Microsoft will explain how they have risen to the occasion by describing technologies that can leverage multi-factor authentication, enable data loss prevention (DLP) capabilities and virtually eliminate malware threats to the Windows platform. Microsoft will outline their strategic long term direction and explain how Windows 10 will help achieve this goal. This session will provide an opportunity for attendees either in person or through the webinar to ask questions of Microsoft.

 

Speaker: Anthony Bartolo

Anthony Bartolo is a Senior Technical Evangelist for Microsoft; he is responsible for educating and assisting the IT professional community in creating efficiencies and understanding best practices. Anthony accomplishes this by sharing his knowledge about Microsoft offered services. Anthony’s insight and experience is backed by years of working for wireless carriers, OEMs and now at a leading mobile first / cloud first enablers. Anthony has been sharing his knowledge that enables Organizations to better implement methodologies in deploying “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) approach for their employees. He continues to share his knowledge extensively across both social and traditional media. Anthony champions Microsoft’s methodology of Enterprise Mobility Solutions by educating people without sacrificing industry accepted security enforcement. Anthony regularly conducts sessions on Internet to promote best practices.
