Congratulations to our 2012 Scholarship Recipient
July 2012, Halifax - The Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the 2012 recipient of its Dr. Stan Heaps Memorial Scholarship. CIPS NS has been awarding scholarships annually to Information Technology students in their third or fourth year of a university program leading to a degree with specialization in computer studies in a Nova Scotia University.
The 2012 recipient is:
Sarah Morash, Dalhousie University
This year’s scholarship, valued at $1000, was awarded based on overall academic merit with emphasis on those courses most relevant to computer science. Extracurricular, leadership and community involvement activities were also considered. The recipient is also offered a one year Student CIPS membership.
