·         28 year career in the Information Technology Industry

·         Honors Business of Admin degree from the University of Regina

·         Completed the Public Executive Program at Queen’s University

·         Provided advice to Ho Chi Minh City government in Vietnam on “Smarter City” strategy.

 

Bernie has received the following awards and recognitions:

·         Selected as one of the “Top 50 Most Influential Albertans” by Alberta Venture Magazine, 2006

·         Global TV Women of Vision award, 2007

·         University of Regina, Alumni  Award for Distinguished Humanitarian and Community Service, 2011
